Focused half-day sessions that build one specific capability. Easy to drop into a team's calendar when there is one particular area you need to develop.
A Skill Builder is a short session focused on a single, practical capability. Where a Core Workshop works in depth, a Skill Builder takes one tool or one practice and gets a team genuinely competent with it.
They work well in three situations. As a standalone session when a team has one specific gap to close. As a follow-on after a Core Workshop, to build the muscle the workshop identified. And as a recurring fixture, the way some teams run a Quarterly Retro or a Strategy Review every quarter.
Available as in-person or remote delivery for groups of all shapes and sizes.
Skill Builders run for 90 minutes or three hours, in person or remotely depending on the session. A range of group sizes are possible.
A short scoping call beforehand helps to tailor the session to the team's context. Participants receive PDF takeaways of key tools and approaches covered. Skill Builders can be booked individually, bundled into a development programme, or set up as a recurring quarterly fixture.
If you are running a wider On The Same Page programme, Skill Builders are the natural way to keep momentum focused on development between the bigger Core Workshop sessions.
A short note about the team and the gap you are trying to close is enough for me to recommend the right session, or to tell you honestly if a Core Workshop would serve you better.
