Adaptive Strategy

Adaptive strategy recognises that the business environment is constantly evolving, and therefore acknowledges a simple premise: you will be wrong. In the short term, this may cause minor problems, but in the long term, without reflection, it can be catastrophic. We help participants understand how to measure and learn from their strategy, and adapt it when necessary.

Strategic Steps

We introduce several frameworks and steps for thinking strategically in different contexts. We consider frameworks designed by top strategy experts including Richard Rumelt and Roger Martin, and look at examples from several companies. We also highlight strategic thinking steps on a more approachable, day-to-day level, so participants can see how they can think strategically within their roles.

Mission Critical

The team clarifies and discusses its mission. What is the ultimate criteria against which the team's success will be judged? What is the big picture strategic goal? Often this section starts with a presentation from the team leader, and we facilitate questions and subsequent discussions.

Workshop Review

Facilitator reviews the session's activities and discussions and answers any questions. Each participant receives a PDF with notes from the workshop.

End In Mind

End In Mind allows you to put your chosen ideas through a process where we first determine the desired outcome or end point. We then work backwards to reveal the necessary steps and actions required to achieve that outcome.

Retrospective

There's huge value in taking the time to pause and look back at how recent events unfolded. By reviewing your performance, decisions, behaviours and results you can take valuable learnings to apply to your future work.

Easy High Impact
