This fast-paced half-day workshop will help you to generate fresh ideas and approaches for your projects or goals with a variety of powerful creative thinking techniques.
  • Question the brief to determine the right problem and approach
  • Generate potential ideas and approaches using the "How might we" technique

“After the session, my colleague and I couldn’t stop talking about the new ideas we had generated in our heads, all of which happened in such a short period of time. I would recommend Creative Huddle to any company who have reached a creative stalemate.”

In Detail

No fluff, no filler. Just practical creative thinking techniques that unlock original ideas you can actually use.

If your team needs to generate some fresh ideas or approaches, look no further than this workshop. You can bring your projects or goals to this session and we'll guide you through these powerful techniques to help you gain new insights and big ideas.

You'll start by viewing things anew, with a beginner's mindset, then move on to consider a range of different perspectives to help you see new opportunities and approaches.

We'll then consider the constraints around your project, stretching and squeezing to tease out radical and innovative solutions. We'll also try two quick-fire techniques for solving problems.

We'll then move on to a design thinking staple - "How Might We...?" which will help you quickly generate potential ideas and approaches.

Using our "Idea Collisions" technique we'll smash these ideas together to make new and novel connections.

The workshop closes with an evaluation exercise to assess and prioritise your ideas, and a quick planning exercise to help you determine next steps. Creative Sparks is designed to work on real goals, so you’ll walk away with prioritised ideas and a clear path forward.

Whether you’re planning a launch, tackling a challenge or rethinking your positioning, this workshop helps you see new possibilities.

What exactly is a Talkshop?

We're glad you asked! Simply put, a Talkshop is a cross between a talk and a workshop. They're short, punchy, thought-provoking sessions. We take a key concept and explain it clearly, then help your team explore it together to understand how it can help them in their work.

FAQ

Extra details about this workshop.
Is this just for “creative” teams like marketing or design?

Not at all. Creative Sparks works brilliantly for strategy teams, product development, ops, HR, finance - anywhere fresh thinking is needed. The workshop is designed to help any team tackle their challenges in new, original ways.

What kind of problems or goals is this best for?

It’s ideal for moments when you need a breakthrough - whether that’s solving a tricky problem, generating campaign ideas, rethinking your offer, or tackling strategic uncertainty. You bring the real work; we bring the tools to unlock new thinking.

What if my team doesn’t feel very creative?

That’s exactly who this is for. The methods are designed to enable creativity, not demand it. Nobody has to “be creative” on the spot. Instead, we use smart prompts, techniques and discussion formats that help ideas emerge naturally from the group.

Can it be adapted to suit our industry?

Yes. The tools are flexible and we’ll tailor the framing, examples and exercises to your context, whether that’s professional services, tech, manufacturing or public sector.

How many people can take part?

We usually recommend between 6 and 20 people, depending on how interactive you want the session to be. Larger groups can be accommodated with breakout structures.

Do you provide a venue?

No. You book the venue, I bring the workshop. I can give you pointers if you need help finding a good spot. Just make sure it’s a space where people can think clearly, talk openly and move around a bit.

How much preparation is needed?

Very little from your side. I’ll run a short discovery call to tailor the session to your goals, and I’ll bring everything we need on the day. Just bring your team, a clear calendar, and an open mind.
