When to use it

Use Face-to-Face Interviews when you want an in-depth, personal understanding of a stakeholder's views. Meeting one to one builds rapport and draws out the reasoning and concerns that shorter or more public methods miss.

Use it when

  • You need rich, qualitative insight from specific individuals.
  • The subject is sensitive and people will speak more openly in private.
  • Building a relationship matters as much as gathering the information.

Not the right tool when

  • You need input from a large number of people. Use Online Surveys.
