In depth

A little more detail.

Knowing your own strengths is powerful, but knowing the strengths of those you work with is even more so.

You’ll create a display of the top strengths you identified yourself as having before taking time to look around at other people’s strengths.

We’ll pause for a discussion about what you discovered about others and to explore any questions or insights you have in order to build a rich picture of your team's strengths.

BRIEF Facilitation notes

How to run it.

When to use it

Use Our Strengths to build a rich picture of what a team is good at. People share their own strengths and learn each other's, which reveals what colleagues love to do and how they can work together more effectively.

Use it when

  • A team wants to know and use the strengths in the room.
  • People understand their own strengths but not each other's.
  • You want a foundation for better collaboration.

Not the right tool when

  • You want to see how strengths show up in practice. Use Strengths Consequences.
  • The focus is defining a great teammate. Use Ultimate Team Mate.
