What you leave with

two

Understand the conditions for high performance and how your leadership creates them

three

Agree a shared approach to leading across all five OTSP pillars

About the session

Leadership culture is never designed on purpose. This day is where you change that.

Leadership culture is not designed by anyone in particular. It forms gradually, through the habits a leadership team develops, the behaviours it models under pressure, and the things it does and does not say out loud. By the time most teams notice it, it has been shaping the organisation for years.

This workshop creates the conditions to examine that honestly and change it deliberately.

Leadership Line Up
A quick opener that maps the room's leadership experience.
15 minutes
Icebreaker
A short opening activity. Participants line up according to how long they have been leaders, from those just starting out to the most experienced. It gets people on their feet, surfaces the range of experience in the room, and sets a collaborative tone for the day.

How We Lead
Are we actually a team? Map how you lead together.
60 minutes
Exercise
A structured session that asks a question many leadership groups have not faced directly: are we actually a team? The group works through the horizontal relationships that make a leadership team real, examining where they align, where silos form, and where they can better support, complement, and depend on one another.

Leading for High Performance
Connect the five conditions to the OTSP pillars.
90 minutes
Exercise
High performance in organisations depends on five specific conditions being present, and each of those conditions depends on the leadership team being aligned in a particular area. This session introduces the research, connects it to the OTSP framework, and gives the team a clear and honest picture of where those conditions are strong and where they need attention.

Leading Through OTSP
Work through each pillar to find the alignment gaps.
90 minutes
Exercise
Understanding what high performance requires is one thing; knowing what your leadership team specifically needs to do to create it is another. This session makes that connection concrete, working through each OTSP pillar in turn to identify where the team's collective leadership is creating the right conditions, where the gaps are, and where to focus first.

Leadership Charter
Specific, testable commitments about how you lead together.
90 minutes
Exercise
A leadership charter is a practical agreement about how a leadership team will lead together: specific, observable, and tested against whether the people they lead would actually recognise it. This session guides the group through drafting one, grounded in the honest work of the day and owned by the people in the room.

Who it's for

Built for leadership teams who want to lead deliberately and on purpose.

Senior leadership teams

Examining how they lead together and the culture their behaviour produces. The day moves from honest individual reflection to a shared Leadership Charter, owned by the people who wrote it.

Departmental leadership teams

Department heads and their teams who want to agree how they lead within their own area. The core questions and the charter output apply at every level of the organisation.

Next step

Bring it into your own team.

Every engagement starts the same way: a 30-minute call to understand the team, the situation, and what good would look like. From there, we agree the shape of the workshop together.
